Back in 2021, Under the Sea proudly joined the UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man community – a commitment to protect our island’s natural beauty and celebrate its heritage.
Every piece I make carries that pledge in spirit and practice.
I collect sea glass from our island’s shores, often picking up plastics and fishing gear along the way to help keep the coastline clean. The silver used in my jewellery is 100% recycled sterling silver.
I repurpose and recycle wherever possible, from packaging to silver. My designs are made to last, handcrafted slowly and thoughtfully, with minimal waste.
Each piece tells a story of Manx coastlines, folklore and craftsmanship, keeping our island’s traditions alive in wearable form.
I care for the island that inspires my work. Everything I create begins with respect for the environment – slow, small‑scale and rooted in protecting the place we’re lucky enough to call home.
I love sharing the process with people I meet along my travels – on the beach or at a market stall. I enjoy helping others see the magic in our shores, and I’ve even inspired my 7 year old niece to dream of working at Under the Sea when she’s older.
My work is inspired by the tides, textures and colours of the Isle of Man – a daily reminder of how lucky we are to live surrounded by such beauty.
